The Iraqi American Chamber of Commerce & Industry’s “Impossible is Nothing  motto has been active in capacity building in Iraq by providing training, education, jobs & through its exhibition activities has contributed to the economic growth of the country. As well as being a non-government organization (NGO), IACCI is a non-profit international organization that represents the interests of over 7000 Iraqi businessmen and women and over 2000 international members.

The Chamber has worked since its beginning on cooperating with of Iraqi Chambers of Commerce, which includes eighteen Chamber of Commerce distributed in all governorates of Iraq, along with the signing of a number of agreements with the American Lebanese and Egyptian Adana Turkish and other rooms WTO, as well as The U.S. arm of the International Chamber of Commerce, the United States Council for International Business (USCIB), announced today that the Iraqi-American Chamber of Commerce and Industry has joined ICC, the world business organization. which enabled it to provide a service company registration at the international level to members, At the local level House strengthened trade cooperation ties with many of the specialized federations and trade unions, including the Engineers Association, the Medical Association, the Iraqi Industries Federation, Contractors Federation, the Bar Association.

Currently IACCI operates in three countries as follow:

     - First: California bureau-San Diego
     - Second: Washington bureau D.C .

IACCI has wide interests, it has programs that include commercial facilitation, training in educational & vocational programs, making surveys & assessments for the performance of the Iraqi economy in different sectors to developing women's abilities and train them in the field of business administration. The chamber works on developing the private sector by holding meetings between Iraqi businessmen, foreign investors, Iraqi companies and ministries.

Since its inception in the USA in 2003, some attempts were made to establish commercial centers. Societies were set up to help develop companies of the public & private sector in Iraq away from the government support & control mentality & activate the development of the Iraqi business sector.

The Iraqi-American Chamber of Commerce& Industry had the major role of rehabilitating the private sector and train public sector companies. By this it has made unique progress which is going on until the present. Now IACCI has various active projects in Iraq in addition to the useful services it offers its members. Moreover it is the first organization to hold international fairs in Iraq.

The Iraqi American Chamber of Commerce and Industry, known as IACCI, has been the leading provider of consistent training programs and opportunities for business and government leaders in Iraq since November of 2003. Under the banner of TADRIB Iraq, IACCI has trained some 10,000 Iraqi professionals in ESL, Computer skills, and IFC Business Edge seminar courses. As of September, 2006, IACCI has been actively engaged in the Community Stabilization Program, sponsored by USAID, under the identity of NAJAH – New Alternatives for Justice, Achievement and Hope. NAJAH uses ESL, IT, and IFC Business Edge training courses to equip small and micro business owners. Using a combination of small grants and IFC Business Edge Training to empower business owners, NAJAH hopes to see the creation of over 5000 jobs in the next year. In addition, IACCI has been working in conjunction with the Multi National Forces – Iraq (MNF-I) to train administrative teams of over 23 large factories in the Baghdad area in an effort to increase production, resulting in the possible creation of over 10,000 additional jobs over the course of the next year.
