The Amman branch of IACCI has implemented quality
activities and of national importance, as detailed
below.
Additional & new services provided include:

Jisour program: in cooperation with the
Arab-German State for Insurance in Jordan to
care for children with incurable diseases (where
four incurable children were already cared for).

Logistical services: in cooperation with one of
the top companies in the kingdom to offer
shipping services, clearance, transportation and
delivering goods to Iraqi businessmen inside
Iraq. IACCI manages the goods till they are
received by the beneficiary with protection
services.

Express mail & parcel services: IACCI Amman has
a signed agreement with Pionex Company for quick
parcel deliveries to & from Iraq at competitive
prices.

Airlines tickets: in agreement with Iraqi
Airways for IACCI to grant discounts on tickets.
-
Visa services: IACCI’s good relation with Arab
and foreign embassies has facilitated the
obtaining of visas.

Certifying documents at embassies in addition to
Jordanian offices.
-
Storage - of goods within the Kingdom at
competitive prices & for open periods.
IACCI carries out services to support Iraqi business
and to enhance good relations between business and
government offices. These activities can be seen
through:

Member Gathering - a networking of
businesspeople & officials throughout the year.
In December 2004 saw 170 of our members being
networked in such a gathering with attaches and
representatives of embassies in Amman.

IACCI Amman saw its grand opening inauguration,
in January 2006, as a branch in the Hashimite
Kingdom by its minister of Industry. It was
attended by the Iraqi ambassador, the chief of
the Jordanian chamber of commerce and
representatives from the Iraqi and Jordanian
governments. Over 200 Iraqi and foreign
businessmen attended, including those residing
in the Kingdom.

First Iraqi Gathering at the Sheraton, Amman in
May 2006.
Over
a hundred of IACCI’s members participated in this
event in Amman; it aimed to identify our members
internationally & put them in touch with their
counterparts. Also, there was another meeting
specifically for Romanian & Jordanian businessmen
with IACCI representing the Iraqi side.
Iraqi Cultural week at the Radison Sas Hotel, Amman
held in July 2006.
IACCI-Amman organized this event to put its members
in contact with their counterparts under the slogan
"Iraqis First".
IACCI made agreements with the embassy of South
Africa to organize the Iraqi, Jordanian & South
African meeting for creating economic and commercial
opportunities. Members of the chamber participated
in this event.
IACCI Amman has many future projects that aim to
develop the services for its members to include:

Financing projects established in Amman in
cooperation with Al-Iskan
Bank (Jordan).

Cooperation with the Jordanian Chamber of
Commerce.

Foundation for Investment Encouragement which
facilitates project
registration in Jordan.

Cooperative discussions with the Iraqi
International Olympic Committee.
